In the previous article , we shared how to recreate a 1956 Mercury XM Turnpike Cruiser for Mr. Swiss. This time, we will talk about how to restore and modify a 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special.
Most model cars on the market use a "curved" roof design, like the two reference pictures above.
Even harder to find in 1/24 scale models are the "flat top" designs, such as this 1960 Cadillac Sedan de Ville. This "flat top" roof existed in 1959 and 1960 only for all General Motors Cars.
Therefore, the Swiss man who loves the "flat-top" design bought a 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special model car on the website and started a series of modifications: he removed the original roof and frame and replaced it with a fully transparent "flat-top" design roof that we made according to his requirements.
With the careful polishing and painting by Mr. Swiss, the antique model car 1960 Cadillac Fleetwood 60 Special was finally successfully restored and modified!
