Earlier, we introduced a CAD tool that you can use right away . Many of you have expressed your wish to learn how to install Fusion 360 and take the first step in 3D modeling. Without further ado, we have immediately prepared detailed steps for you to install Fusion 360 Personal Edition for free, so that you can follow the steps to install it step by step and start your 3D modeling journey smoothly!

2. Fill in your first name, last name, email address (required to enter twice for confirmation) and password in order, and click the box to confirm that you agree to the Autodesk Terms of Use and accept the Privacy Statement.
3. After clicking Create Account, you will be redirected to the above screen and receive a verification email from Autodesk. Please check your email within 60 minutes and click Verify email in the email to verify the email. Otherwise, the verification link will expire after 60 minutes.
4. Click the Verify email in the email to enter the screen, enter the same email address, and click Next; enter the password set earlier, click Next, and click Done on the Account verified screen to complete the account registration.
5. Go back to the Account created screen and click Done to complete the free download of Autodesk Fusion 360 Personal Edition.
6. Fill in the same email address on the white form, click Continue, then fill in your first name, last name, and phone number and click Continue again.
7. The form will automatically set the location to Hong Kong based on the phone number you entered. Hong Kong does not use a postal code, so you can enter 000000. Click the first box to confirm that you agree to the Autodesk Terms of Use and accept the Privacy Statement, then click Submit.
8. After entering the screen, press DOWNLOAD NOW to enter another screen.
9. Click DOWNLOAD NOW on this screen to start downloading the Autodesk Fusion 360 Personal Edition installer.
10. Once the installation is complete, click on the program, enter your email address and password, log in to your registered account, and start making your first 3D model!
As a reminder, Fusion 360 for Personal Use does have some limitations. Here are the main limitations:
Non-commercial use: The free personal version is for non-commercial use only.
Functional limitations: Some advanced functions, such as simulation and generative design, are not available.
File limit: You can only have 10 files in use or editing, but you can store an unlimited number of archived files
Export format: Can export to .STL and .OBJ formats
For most beginners, even with the above limitations, it is still sufficient for use. If you have more usage needs, you may need to consider upgrading to the paid version.
